UBC’s Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology offers free courses and workshops for instructors interested in enhancing their teaching practices and learning technology skills.

CTLT offers three-day Faculty ISWs designed for instructors interested in developing and enhancing their teaching skills. Participants will have a chance to sharpen existing skills and to experiment with new approaches to teaching.

Teaching in a Blended Learning Environment (T-BLE) is a short, immersive course aimed at instructors who are considering moving to a blended environment. The course runs for four weeks and is delivered in a blended format—a combination of online and face-to-face sessions.

In these workshops, faculty members who have implemented a new approach in their teaching practice share their experiences and discuss how it has impacted their teaching. Tipping Points are also available as webcasts, and online resources complement the discussion.
