This project will transform the course Professional Dietetic Practice III (FNH 480) to address challenges with student foundational knowledge application in practice settings, and enhance student learning engagement. Students will establish learning priorities related to course themes, then develop and compile educational media for open access online sharing, using registered dieticians as content advisors. Evaluation findings from a course pilot will inform development of resources and tools for ongoing integration into the course. The long-term benefits of the project include the ongoing availability of a practice-focused online learning resource to support the learning needs of internship students on a just in time basis, and inform preceptors about what their students are learning in the campus component of the program.
