The team involved with this project will work with the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology to transform Legal Research and Writing (LAW 180) into a fully online course. Elements of a flipped classroom have already been implemented in the course, and the project will extend that work with plans to move completely online in September 2015. The course will be beneficial to other members of UBC and the wider community who are interested in acquiring these skills, and there is a possibility that the course may be adopted by other Canadian law schools and institutions that offer law-related programs.
